嵐電北野線妙心寺駅からすぐ、八方睨みの雲龍図で有名な妙心寺の北総門にあります。
観光ついでに京料理を食べたいと思い、雰囲気と予算の合った京料理萬長さんに予約。

予約より早い時間でしたが
快く対応してくれた。
京料理の他、うなぎも美味しかった。
街は観光客でごった返してけど、穴場でゆっくりできた。
マレーシアからの大切なお客様から、京都観光をしたい。侍になりたい。鰻を食べたい。との希望を受け、嵐山、太秦映画村、萬長さんのコースを設定しました。
結果、大好評❣️

名物つれづれ弁当（松）を頂きました。
品数も豊富で筍など旬の食材を丁寧に味付けされていて、感激しました。
凄く美味しかったです。ご飯が少し柔らかすぎたかな。他は、みんな美味しかったと言っていたので満足です。
はもづくし御膳、美味しくいただきました。湯引きしたはもと梅肉の組み合わせは最高ですね。だだ、ご飯は白飯が良かったかな。鱧ご飯だとやりすぎ感が…。
仁和寺や妙心寺に行ったときにこちらで、お昼をいただきました。
いろんなものを食べることができたので、満足できました。
ご主人のお話によると、昔の撮影所が近かったせいか、津川雅彦さんとも学友とのこと。
ご飯の型が三つのお山の形になっているのは「双ヶ丘」をかたどったものでしょうか。
そこにあった吉田兼好の庵にちなんだ...
