メキシコといえば…タコス！ブリトー！ワカモレ！サルサソース！テキーラ！
くらいの知識しかなかったのですが、今回は「メキシカン×エシカル」を題材にしたイノベーティブ料理をいただくため、ランチでETHICAさんへ伺いました。
何度かお店の前を通ったことがあり、そのたびに気になっていたんですよね。
実際に私が食事している際も、外から中を伺われている人がたくさんいました。
コースのみのお店です。
ランチコースの中でも、特に気に入ったのはブリートです。恥ずかしながらコンビニで売っているものしか食べたことがなかったので、新しい出会いに感動です。
ちなみにメニューの中のアントヒートスとは、トウモロコシの粉を練って作る生地マサを使用した軽食の総称で、私も知っていたタコスはその代表です。
メキシコビールも美味しかったなあ。
材料にソイミートを使っていたり、産地や生産者にもこだわりを感じました。
出てくるお料理の説明や、器、色合いや盛り付けなどについて同行者と話も盛り上がりました。
料理についてあれこれ考察したり、五感や脳で楽しむのが好きなので、とても楽しめました。
ごちそうさまでした。
次はディナーにも来てみたいです。
